We are seeking highly motivated, team-oriented professionals with excellent interpersonal skills. Ophthalmic technicians are responsible for performing necessary diagnostic tests and measurements for the physician while maintaining the highest level of customer comfort, safety and professionalism. Duties may include obtaining ocular and medical histories, measuring and recording visual acuities, intraocular pressures, refractions, visual fields, A-scans, contact lens fittings, and maintaining optical and surgical equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be independent and reliable and hold a certification of a COA or COT.
PATIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills. The patient service associate creates a positive first and last impression for our patients and is the core to our practice running smoothly and efficiently. The responsibilities of the patient service associate include, but are not limited to the following; greeting and registering the patient, verifying patient information, verifying insurance and obtaining referrals if needed, collecting co-pays and past balances, schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, provide a positive customer experience for every patient. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in a medical office, strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, proficient knowledge in medical insurances, computer proficiency and prior experience with EMR highly preferred and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, possess a high school diploma or equivalent required and be at least 18 years of age or older.
